Toby - Male ChihuahuaTerrier (Unknown Type Small) Mix

Toby is looking for his special forever family This sweet boy was neglected abused and starved then left in a ditch on a hot day. Sunburned dehydrated and exhausted this poor baby had quite an ordeal. Thank God a very kind man walking by looked closer after he thought it was a Kleenex and scooped him up to safety. Toby is approximately 5 years old and weighs approximately 4 pounds now. Toby is very quiet and not overly affectionate. He was born with a crippling disorder. And in his back legs it is possibly severe luxating patella (knee caps in the wrong place) on top of it. He gets around very well in spite of it and enjoys roaming around the house and backyard now and then but he won t need to go on walks or have too much activity. A little room to explore a little yard area and good food which includes fresh chicken and scrambled eggs and this boy is happy He likes to spend the majority of his leisure time relaxing and some snoozing. He needs a calm gentle home but not much extra time is needed for his special needs. He is learning to enjoy lap time. Toby appears to be a bit shut down but with love and time I feel he will flourish. No young children for Toby. He is hoping for a family that is retired with lots of lap time to share. He should be ok with another small calm dog. Toby has been neutered vaccinated microchipped and has had a dental (with some extractions). His ears were very dirty very deep. To clean that deep would be painful so he had a deep ear cleaning with his neuter Toby will come with a nice Balboa baby sling for ease in carrying him.
