You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.If you have a lap this is the cat If you have the lap this is the cat Eve is a petite sweet medium-long haired calico who never met a lap she didn t like. She s happy to spend hours purring and sleeping contentedly on warm human furniture. If you lean back a little she might even plant her paws on your shoulders and give your chin and ears a good nuzzle. Eve was found on the street a few weeks ago starving emaciated and weak but still willing to give passersby a nudge and purr. She s slowly gaining weight growing out her silky fur and recovering her energy. She s been to the vet has all her shots and a clean bill of health (including FIV negative) aside from a hyperactive thyroid for which she s taking an inexpensive medication. Eve is an easy cat to live with. She ll eat a variety of dry foods but if you really want to make a friend slip her a little wet food and watch her lick the plate clean - but be careful she s a cat so once is a lifetime habit. She s never missed her litter box. Like many cats she likes the high ground but comes down for attention whenever a friendly human is around. After an unknown amount of time on the street Eve is very leery of other cats but gives a mild grumble or hiss and retreats rather than fighting. A home where she s the only cat would be ideal but she shows signs of slowly adapting to other cats so it may just be a matter of patience and slow careful introduction. Eve s foster family already has three cats of their own in a relatively small home so they d like to find her a permanent home where she ll get all the love and attention she can soak up.
