CONTACT Katja at -XX(at)-----X MONKEY is a charming 5-6-month-old male mixed breed dog (most likely pit bull with German Shepherd or some kind of shepherding dog) who was rescued from a high intake shelter where he faced euthanasia because he had a treatable medical condition. Fully recovered he is now eager to find his forever family Weighing about 40 lbs and with an expected adult weight of 60-70 lbs Monkey is a playful and affectionate young fellow who gets along swimmingly with everyone he meets. He is a favorite at doggy day care and would be delighted to continue to have an active social life in his forever home. Monkey lives in a foster home with other dogs and with cats and has good manners around his feline friends. He walks politely on leash and is making excellent progress with his housebreaking. He is crate trained. Monkey s favorite activities include playing with other dogs chewing on Nylabones cuddling and eating. He has adorable markings and we think it s extra special that he has brown eyelashes on one eye and white eyelashes on the other. Monkey will thrive in a household that will continue to help him develop into the outstanding adult dog he is destined to be. He would be a great addition to a multi-pet family and we think would appreciate a home with some outdoor space he could enjoy. Application home check and adoption fee are required.
