Introducing Hattie Hi I m Hattie. I m a 5 year old 16 lb. female Schnauzer mix. I have been an only dog all my life so my play tactics are a little rusty but I get along fine with both big and small dogs. I like calmer dogs better so if you have an active one he or she will need to give me time to want to join in.I am house trained & crate trained. When I want to go out I bark and scratch at the door. I am a woman who knows what I want and will tell you even though we speak different languages. We will learn to communicate as I have with my foster mom. I m sure of it. I will need regular grooming to keep me looking my best. I am great around kids. I am mouthy so a home with kids over 5 will be best for me. I ve lived a pretty solitary life just my dad & I so I can be a nervous Nellie. I need a little time to warm up to you so please let s make that happen.Once I get to know you I m a total cuddle bug. I love to sleep on the bed & sit on your lap but only once called up. I know SIT but dad was a strong guy so I could work on my leash walking skills.My foster mom uses some strange devices. I believe she calls them her cane and wheelchair.
