Angels Among Us Animal Rescue announces a new Angel Meet Lily Lucky Lily was rescued in early June after being thrown out of a moving truck. What initially was thought to be a broken leg was actually a gunshot to her leg. Our vet removed the bullet and repaired Lilly s leg Fast forward to September and Lily has recovered and now is using her leg again. She looks to be mostly (if not all) English Pointer and is only about 1-2 yrs old and about 45 pounds. Lily is super in the house and is fully housebroken. She has been spayed micro chipped and is heart worm negative. Lily loves other dogs and is great around cats. She will make a wonderful family companion dog and would also be great to hike with. She walks great on a leash and enjoys the outdoors. Lily was very skinny when we rescued her but has gained weight and looks wonderful. Lily is currently in TN but will be transported north to New England for adoption. The adoption donation is 400 which includes a health certificate and transport north. Unless stated otherwise all dogs will be spayed or neutered on flea tick product and heart worm prevention medicine (if older than 5 months) and micro chipped prior to adoption.
