My name is Hyacinth CCR 1042. I am available for adoption through Colorado Canine Rescue (CCR) a nonprofit dog rescue located in the Denver area. I came to CCR from Texas.. There is very little history on me. CCR has been told I am a terrier mix breed mix but that is just a guess made by shelter staff rescue volunteers and our veterinarians. Hyacinth is a little spitfire or if you prefer a tomboy. She doesn t mind getting dirty or chasing after the other dogs to get a toy. Hyacinth goes where ever she wants to go and will find a way to get there. She seems well balance in being independent but still wanting to sit in your lap and nap. She is a smart bouncy happy little girl of 3 months old. Other dogs need to accept her as her friend or she will chat at them. She is somewhat of a watch dog but not consistently. Her current best buds are a pit bull and two sheppard mix dogs. Hyacinth is good in a kennel for the full night as well as shorter day periods. Because of her energy and happiness to be with other dogs she is best suited with another furry mate that will give her a run for her money. If a cat is willing she would play with them also. She is little so children that know how to already handle dogs would be best for her. She has not had the opportunity to meet any young ones yet. Her current weight at 3 months is under 10lbs. Her paws are small but needs to grow into her cute floppy ears.
