Roslyn is a soon to be spayed female cat probably born 2015. She taken to the pound tangled in a harness that had rubbed through her skin and flesh. There was a 50-cent piece sized whole in her armpit where you could literally see into her body cavity. She was also heavily pregnant and not strong enough for surgery. She had her kittens shortly after being found & turned in.Her foster home has been treating her wound with antibiotics and ointment...it is closing very slowly but is in such an awkward place (armpit) that it is taking a long time to heal. Despite her pain she was a wonderful mother to seven beautiful babies - Harlyn Franklyn Angelyn Saralyn Viviyn Joslyn and Lillyn. All the kittens are mostly white with various touches of calico (or in the case of the boys tabby). The kittens are old enough to visit the shelter and will be old enough to go home in mid-August.Much as Roslyn loves her kids she s looking forward to giving up her parental responsibilities and putting her feet up (preferably on an overstuffed couch with some Netflix on).
