Betty is a sweet 9-year-old beagle girl with loads of love to share with a new family. Betty was adopted into a loving home from Midwest BREW 6 years ago. Her family is relocating out of state and unable to take Layla returned her to Midwest BREW.Her foster family including beagle foster sibling is having a lot of fun with Betty. From the day she arrived she s been friendly and always happy to greet her foster mom dad beagle sibling and three boys ages 9 to 15. True Betty strolls at a slower pace and plays less rowdily than her five-year-old beagle foster sib but she s enthusiastic about it all. She joyfully goes on walks and loves to ride in the car. In the car she s an eager out-the-window gazer. Betty flips over for a tummy rub at any sign that one might be forthcoming. Is she too old to attempt kitchen-table counter-surfing Not at all Betty is housetrained (no accidents in the house at all). She readily does her bathroom business on leash and in the yard.Her former family said that she is crate-trained (and her crate is available to her adopting family) although she has not used the crate in her foster home. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed wherever her beagle sibling sleeps. She has been left alone in the house with her beagle sib at varioustimes and has shown no distress.Betty is showing her age in a few ways. She s a bit overweight has two benign fatty tumors and has noticeable plaque buildup on her teeth. None of this seems to bother her though and she s perhaps lost a pound while living with her foster family thanks to exercise.She will be a loving companion in a new home with or without dog siblings....
