Hazel 108183 - Female Labrador Retriever

Hazel is a very nice 5 to 7-year-old flat coat mix. This girl is pretty timid when you first meet her she s a little overwhelmed at the shelter. She s calm and mellow but just takes a little bit to warm up to you. There s a very sweet dog and underneath that shy girl. She is food motivated but does not seem to know any commands at this time. She will walk nice on a leash but is a little unsure. She was well behaved but concerned during physical exam. Hazel needs a home where her family will take some time and let her adjust to her new life and encourage her to grow into the great dog that we know that she can be. We think that Hazel would do best in a family prepared to do some training that has some doggy experience. We feel she would do well in a home with children eight years of age and older as long as they are respectful to her.... More Info
