BIG FAN OF Cuddling and giving kisses. NOT A FAN OF Meeting people too quickly. It takes him time to observe and warm up so please allow him to approach people in his own time. Once he finds his favorite person he ll be their shadow and follow them everywhere. Prince is also not a fan of sharing his favorite things with people and other dogs. SPECIAL FEATURES Prince is a little guy with a big personality. He loves snuggling belly rubs and showing affection to those he trusts. He s also a huge fan of squeaky toys and loves hiking -- he recently want to Ledges State Park and had no problem being in water climbing on rocks or jumping onto things. He has been doing well with both large and small dogs in his foster home but he doesn t get along with every dog he meets so he ll need to meet any resident dogs before adoption. He also has been doing well with multiple cats in his foster home. OTHER REASONS HE S SPECIAL Prince is clicker-trained and is working on sit down bow roll over and come. He is also kennel trained and is used to sleeping in his kennel at night. He can be protective of his kennel and doesn t like to be bothered when he s in it so he will need people who will respect that. He is potty trained but still needs to be watched closely in the house. DREAM HOME Prince is looking for someone he can bond closely with who will understand and enjoy his strong personality. He ll love going on walks each day and would enjoy having other canine friends. He needs a teens-and-up home right now. This dog is participating in our Shelter Dog Getaway program -- a program designed to give dogs a vacation from the shelter and let them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted.
