Meet Moppet Moppet is a 2 yr old 12lb Cairn Terrier mix. He is looking for a home where he can be king of the mountain . Moppet is definitely an alpha dog and would do best in a home without any other competition. He is fine with and ignores cats and does well with older respectful children but is unpredictable and has shown some aggression with other dominate dogs around and for this reason its best he be an only dog. He will not disappoint in the love and affection department once you earn his trust he will follow you around wherever you go and is truly a lap dog smothering you with all the kisses you ll allow him to or roll over for belly rubs. He loves to lay at your feet or better yet ON your feet as well. Moppet does not like to be crated he will tolerate being put behind a baby gate but he is at his best when he is out and active with his people. He has not been destructive being left out of his crate. Moppet is still learning leash manners and gets pretty excited when he s out for walks he eventually settles into a walking rhythm but needs to be reminded at first not to pull. Still working on house-training but Moppet is getting better everyday we have almost eliminated accidents by going outside every few hours giving positive praise for potty outside. He is very treat motivated and knows his basic commands (sit stay no off) with continued work he is super smart and eager to please especially for a reward hot dogs are his favorite. Because of Moppets potential aggression with other dogs and his general terrier behaviors it s recommended that he get continued training it will only make him a happier dog. Moppet s adoption fee is 250 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin.
