From the looks of it they were not very nice to her. But Annie still is very trusting of people and is an incredibly sweet girl. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home ensures the dog remains well socialized and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting spay neuter surgery (for dogs over 6 months old) rabies distemper parvo vaccinations treatment for worms heartworm testing monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea tick prevention (while the animal is in our care) and transport costs from high-kill shelter.
