Kleptomaniac Teacup Pom Seeks Home Filled With Toys Hi all I m Magnus I am the last of the 4 pups that were sealed in a box on a hot summer s day and thankfully rescued by HFD. Right off the bat I want to let you know how tiny I am -- barely tipping the scales at 3 pounds. My foster mom is pretty sure I would be what is considered a Teacup Pom . I am the tiniest dog my foster home has had and I am fragile - most likely I will top out at 5-6 pounds full grown. For those reasons my foster parents are insisting that any applicant with kids has older children - ages 10 and up no exceptions.Ok now that that is out of the way here s more about me I am currently fostered with bigger dogs (60-70 pounds) and cats and do great. My foster home s dogs are very used to fosters of all sizes so they are great with me but if you have big dogs we will still need an in-home meet and greet to make sure they don t step on me or mistake me for small prey. I don t react at all to cats - mainly because they are bigger than me I just watch them do their thing.However I am a cat burglar As you can see from my pic I love nothing more than gathering up toys flip flops etc and dragging them over to my bed to make a nest . Some might call me a hoarder but I love it. I drag the big dogs toys cat toys you name it. I love chewing tiny puppy bones for my size and any and all stuffed toys.I am working hard on housebreaking and training - I love to run around outside in the grass. My foster home has a fenced in yard - it s really important that your fence is Pom-proofed - I m so teeny that I could easily slip under a gap in the bottom of the fence. Also it is wise to always supervise me outside - I could be carried away by hawks coyotes etc.I am not too much of a yapper at all - only time I really do it is when I hear the door open and someone comes home. I think it s a good thing it means I m a 3 pound guard dog I am almost 4 months old fully vetted including neuter microchip dewormings and age appropriate vaccinations. I am in the process of shedding my puppy coat and getting my big boy coat in so I look like a wild hyena I am still a puppy so despite my cuteness I still need to finish my house training and be provided with chew toys for when I start teething.If you think you would like to meet me please visit heathersfosterdogs.org to fill out an application online or download one and print out.
