Ben was a pretty well cared for rabbit but due to a family emergency had to be brought here. We have found him to be easy to pick-up tolerates being held LOVES to be petted social active and curious. He is young so his new family should be ready for a long commitment. We think he would be fine for most families. He ll require a yearly vet exam and nail trimming about every 4-6 months.In our Rabbit Romper Room Ben was very tidy enjoyed a variety of toys and chewing on cardboard egg cartons. He sought out attention for more petting and handled all of the comings goings very nicely. We are pretty sure he would be fine with children who understand how to properly interact with a rabbit.All rabbits need time outside of their enclosure to burn off energy and to kick up their feet A long hallway or a room they haven t been in before will do the trick. Getting out of their enclosure for 2-3 hours a day is critical. Not only does it help with boredom but it helps with moving their food through their delicate system.Ben should eat unlimited amounts of Timothy Oat and or Orchard Grass hay 2-3 tablespoons of pellets (no dried fruit or nut mixes) a small handful of veggies and an occasional piece of fruit as a treat.
