She loves her people and gives lots of kisses. She is shy and doesn t like quick movements or loud noises so I imagine she d do best without small children. She tolerates other dogs and cats but doesn t let them get too close. Our other dogs learned quickly that she needs her space. She is not aggressive just really frightened of new animals and environments. She certainly can live with other animals she would just prefer to be with animals that are calm and who ignore her. Layne does really well on pack walks and becomes a different dog when it s time to walk - she gets really excited and walks well on the leash. She is 100% potty trained and does well in the crate. She would be happiest in a home where someone is home most of the day but does fine when left alone as well. She has yet to bark so I think she would do just fine with shared walls. Layne would be a fun dog to bring on car rides or to things like baseball games because she is friendly with strangers and very content to sit on your lap for hours. Layne will be a special addition to any home willing to give her some time and patience to come out of her shell. All dogs are in individual foster homes throughout the Twin Cities.
