The family stated that he was kept outdoors because they had no room in the house for him. He was severely matted and neglected. Barkley can be a little scared and nervous when meeting new people but he opens up once he has time to settle down.He is more fearful of men than women. For the time being we do not recommend him for a home with young children. He is not at all aggressive. He is a super sweet affectionate boy with a very cute underbite. He has a little separation anxiety but will stop crying after a few minutes. We think that once he is more comfortable in his surroundings he might do well with kids but not right now.
