Meet Harley. This guy came to us in the midst of a family emergency. We couldn t say no but we had no immediate space available. We placed him in boarding just to keep him safe and now he is ready to move on to a forever home (although even a foster home would be appreciated) Harley is a 10-year-old border collie (mix ). This is not a case where the camera adds 10 pounds. Harley is a big boy weighing 87 pounds. He is cutting back on junk food and watching his waistline reappear. Although Harley is a bit chunky he is in good health and has great self esteem. He runs and struts with the best of them plus he is open friendly and outgoing. He loves to get belly rubs and roll around in the grass. Harley has been raised around kids cats and other dogs. He really perks up to greet new people and other animals. Harley is chill when he needs to be and ready to explore outside when that s appropriate. He is a bit strong on leash and changes lanes without warning. A little practice and an Easy Walk harness (or similar) should do the trick. Harley would appreciate a fenced yard where he can hang on beautiful days with his people by his side. Harley is neutered up to date on vaccines heartworm negative and microchipped. At the last vet visit it was discovered that Harley is Lyme disease positive and suffering from an ear infection. He is on medication and will be healed up pretty quickly. Our big handsome guy is housebroken and crate trained.
