Meet Jackson This handsome hunk of hound is a German Shorthair pointer Lab mix that is 7 weeks old today (Aug. 22). He cannot leave our care until after 8 weeks of age but we are now starting to take applications on him. Adopters for this breed should be prepared to handle this pups instincts as he grows. Hunting breeds are not for everyone and require an experienced hand. We are seeking an adopter that is familiar with hunting and cattle breeds and what it takes to train and redirect any instinctual behaviors as he grows. That being said he is very young still easily socialized for any home environment. A blank slate ready for parents to help him form and grow. His adoption fee is 250 and includes his neuter microchip shots up to date of adoption a month of pet insurance and a wellness check at our vet within 72hours.
