Delila - Female Bullmastiff

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Fill out an Adoption Application She s not trying to walk any marathons but she loves to go for walks around the neighborhood to sniff things and meet the neighbors. She s good on a leash. She s great if you take the time to put a gentle lead harness on her. I can walk her loose leash. Some of her favorite things to do include spending time with my grandchild. She adores children and is very gentle with them. We were told she came from a home with a special needs child and it s evident that she was close to the child. She also adores tennis balls. She likes to play fetch but only for a minute or two. She mostly likes to carry it around with her and lay on the floor with it in front of her. If you are in the room with her she will nudge the ball across the floor to you so you can roll it back to her. She s a bit lazy. She s house trained. She will potty every time you take her outside. She isn t a picky eater. She even likes strawberries She s never been on the furniture at my house. She doesn t even ask. She s a leaner. She will come and put her head on the sofa while I sit there but she doesn t try to get up on it herself. She knows the sit and down command and she shakes when she wants to look extra cute. She is good in the bath and loves to drink the water as it comes out of the sprayer. She s been non reactive to my dogs. She follows my elder bull around like the puppy she is wanting to play. My dog is no so sure she wants to play with such a big dog though and has given her a warning growl a time or two to which Delilah has just turned around and lays down on the floor. She seems to be very balanced. She got along well with the dogs at the shelter and although she was always on leash there she has been off leash with mine and has never shown any negative behavior. Even with her ball which is her prize possession. I really could go on and onApplication Fees Adoption Donations and Rescue Policy Please know that 100% of our funds are used for rescuing the dogs.
