kern river missing dog

lost or found lost Please Read and Share cuz you never know... My sweet baby girl Delilah is MIA and likely RIP. On August 15th I was driving to the lower Kern River to go camping for 2 nights at the Hobo Campground. About 9 miles before my destination my car overheated and I was stranded with no cell phone service or AC in well over 100 degree heat. After about 25 minutes of praying for someone to help me a nice gentleman named Mac his wife Irma and their grandson kindly offered me a ride to Hobo so I could let my friends know what happened. One of my friends drove me back down to the car to see if we could get it started again. I left my dogs at the campsite with the other friends so they wouldn t be in a hot vehicle with me for any longer. On the way back there was a road block because of a fatal car accident and we were delayed in reaching the vehicle. Eventually we made it to the car almost 2 hours after I had initially broken down and it would still not start. After using a call box twice and 2 more hours later (in above 100 degree heat with no AC) a tow truck finally came and gave us a tow to a mechanic in Lake Isabella. While we were dealing with the car situation our friends back at the campsite took my 3 dogs into the river on an inner tube untethered. The tube capsized and Delilah was swept away by the mighty and deadly Kern. She has not been found since. She s a very happy go lucky healthy and youthful 12 year old 7.5 pound Black and Tan Pomeranian. If by some miracle she swam ashore down river and is found please contact me Jules at show contact info My dogs are my children and an integral part of my World. They ve been there for me through the best and worst days of my life. I am praying for a miracle. All help and advice for places I can contact or search are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
