Miss Pepper came to ABR from south Texas probably after escaping from a backyard breeder. This 3 to 4 year old recently had a litter and was a bit rough but her foster family is taking good care of her. Pepper has a fawn coat with just a touch of flash and a pretty black mask. She is heartworm negative and is finishing preventive medication for tick borne illness common to south Texas. Miss Pepper is learning how to live with a family something she didn t get to do before. Fortunately her sweet nature and eagerness to please are helping her learn the skills she needs to be a successful family member. She is very good on leash already and she gets along with dogs and cats so her future is bright. Miss Pepper has learned to play with the other Boxers in the home and is happy to take a nap too. Miss Pepper has a journey ahead of her. She s not ready to be left alone for long periods yet as she needs reassurance and guidance but she s a quick study who will be ready for her forever family soon.
