You see Teddy has suffered from a lifetime of untreated ear infections to the point where the cartilage in both ears is so hardened that he is now permanently deaf. Imagine if someone filled up your ears with cement and left it to harden Well that s what Teddy feels like - every day he has suffered with what can only be imagined as the most painful migraine ever. Teddy is about to undergo two major ear surgeries where the doctor will completely remove Teddy s ears and ear canals which will remove a lot of his pain however he will never be able to hear again. Despite the life of neglect Teddy is a character and so loving He may be a little shy at first but it sure does not take him long to warm up
