Ken - Male MastiffRetriever (Unknown Type) Mix

Ken is a handsome 6-month-old (as of 8 12 16) we believe to be a mastiff retriever mix. He was brought to the shelter as a stray and did well in his behavioral assessment with our dog trainer who said Ken is something of a goofball. He knows sit when shown a treat plays with squeaky toys and was good with being handled as a veterinarian might do in an office visit. He guarded a rawhide he was given during his testing so our trainer thinks he d do best in a home where children are at least 12 years old her standard recommendation for dogs who don t like to share. We think Ken will do well in a home ready for an active young dog.
