Tink - Female Chihuahua Mix

This cute little girl is named Tink short for Tinkerbell. Tink came from California via Wings of Rescue. We re not sure if she was a stray or owner-surrendered but someone took the time to socialize her well. She is sugary sweet and loves to cuddle. She loves to meet people of all ages including small children. Tink enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood and takes the time to smell the odors. What better way to meet and make new friends of all shapes and sizes She let out a tiny growl upon meeting two large dogs but quickly became friends. She reacted positively with a neighbor s cat.Tink is approximately 8 years old. She stays very well but she can be a little stubborn at times especially when she has to come indoors. She would love a secure yard where she could lie in the sun whenever she chose to preferably by your side.Tink can bark and howl like a coyote when left alone so she d probably do best living in a house not an apartment. Otherwise she s as quiet as a mouse. She did not appreciate being in a crate during the drive to her new foster home but she had been in a crate for many hours at that point. She was quiet once her foster mom tethered her in a doggie bed in the back seat. Tink needs more house-training. It s not known if she knows how to use a doggie door. She has some incontinence from her recent spay surgery so she wears diapers in her foster home. Tink is up to date on her vaccinations and has been microchipped.
