My name is Sherman and I m a handsome six year old husky looking for a special home that will understand me and my needs. You see I m a pretty stoic independent guy who is happy with a few friends but doesn t need to be the most popular dog in the world. I ll play a bit and I ll definitely work for treats--but I kind of prefer to do things on my own. I m fit and active enough for long long walks on the beach adventurous hikes in the woods and exploring country roads. In fact the busier you keep me with physical and mental exercise the happier we ll both be. I m learning from my friends here at WHS how to be a pet dog because I was kept outside only at my original home--you ll have to help me learn the ropes and rules in a house though. I need a home without cats or small dogs and I may or may not hit it off with your larger dogs--we ll see when we meet The appropriate home for me would also be adults-only because being handled worries me but don t give obvious warnings.
