Finnick Odair from The Hunger Games Catching Fire And you will surely have our little Finnick s heart forever and always as he realizes he is finally at the end of his journey with his forever family. Finnick is an 18 month old tan and white Carolina Dog who weighs 35 lbs. His little loving compact size makes him the perfect snuggle buddy which happens to be one of his favorite things to do. Finnick has done very well with his house training but is crated when his foster parents go to work this is only until he is familiar with what is expected of him with house manners. He does have free run of the house if foster mom is only leaving for a couple of hours. They are gradually increasing his time limits as his training progresses. He does very well in his crate and has come a long way from never having lived inside a home. He has done remarkably well and has learned sit and leave it. Finnick does quite well on leash but does get excited when he sees squirrels (when the leave it command comes in handy). This sweet boy was scared to death when he first went into foster but within a couple of days he was happily playing with his foster siblings of all ages and sizes. He LOVES playing games with the little boy who lives in the home. They both wear each other out running and playing. Finnick loves playing tug chase and his version of dog tag with his other dog pals. He is not currently in a home with cats and did chase after a stray but foster mom thinks he would be okay with cats with proper introductions. Finnick is already neutered up to date on all vaccinations current on preventatives and micro chipped. He is ready find his happy ending with a family who will forever welcome him into their hearts and home.
