Little Bambi - Female Chihuahua Mix

We were contacted by a concerned rescue advocate from the Bronx who was put in contact with a woman who had a mini chihuahua puppy born with a disfigured anus. ... Her rear end is constricted and much too small for the puppy to defecate normally. The puppy is constantly leaking liquid feces in pain and is also impacted. The puppy is only about 10 weeks old the woman was told by a pet shop to just feed the pup baby food. Sadly this family doesn t have the means to care for or treat the pup for the surgery she needs. We are very grateful to this advocate who had to convince the family to surrender her to SCR so she can receive the life-saving treatment she so desperately needs. We have named her Bambi and she is just precious. She is seeing our surgeon this afternoon.
