My name is Hoover and I have a story to tell you.I am a fairly young guy at just two years old. They tell me I am an Anatolian Shepherd Mix but who really knows except my prior owner (maybe) and they never bothered to take good enough care of me so why would anyone expect them to really know what kind of dog I am. I can tell you I am a pretty sweet guy. I love people (both big and small).I... ended up in a small shelter in another State and unfortunately there are a lot of space limitations and even though the people who work there felt really bad my time came and even though they don t think we know that something bad is going to happen to us - we do know. We pretend we don t because we don t want them to feel worse than they already do. Well some great person sent my picture to Patriots for Pets and asked if they could help me. Guess what - they said yes and my number came off of the bad list and I go to go live with a temporary mom who showed me a lot of love until it could be arranged for me to come here to Iowa. My foster mom worked for a vet and she got all kinds of things done to me and she told me the only step left was to go on a trip and then charm my way into someone s heart once I got here.I made it here safe and sound and I have been promised that they will help me find someone to love me and treasure me - I m not sure what treasure is but it sounds really good to me.
