Meet Milo He was rescued with his sister Lola from the Baldwin Park Shelter in June. When we first took in Milo he was skinny and frail which was a concern After a few weeks of not being able to gain weight Milo was tested and it was confirmed that he Irritable Bowel Disease. This means that his body has a difficult time absorbing nutrients and gaining weight. However this disease can be controlled with proper food and medical care. We have seen extraordinary results in just a few weeks of treatment This disease does not slow Milo down. He loves to play and love on people however we believe Milo would be a great fit for a family who can provide him with a lot of structure and who is willing to adhere to his medical needs.
