Did you hear about those apartment fires that happened in Ames at the beginning of June Well I was in it I literally had to walk through fire to get out. A police officer had me on oxygen when shelter director arrived to help me and he had to take me to the hospital so they could treat my injuries. I had suffered smoke inhalation burns on my paw pads smoke damage to my eyes and sores all over my body. I had to have surgery to repair my damaged skin and remove part of my tail and I have to wear one of these awful cones until I m healed. The most unfortunate part about all of this is that my human never came back for me.I am now on the mend but the only thing I can think about is a new home and someone to love. I promise to be a wonderful cat for you and will give you snuggles and love for however long you need.
