Announcement Our family is in the process of downsizing to better economize our finances. We have some rough plans (blueprints and layouts) for a 24 RV trailer we are going to build. We are not asking for donations or anything for free. Our budget to build our new home is 3000. We think it can be completed with this price we just need help acquiring parts and maybe some labor. We cannot find a 24 trailer for a low price that we can afford so we may have to fabricate one. The mission for the project is to utilize as many surplus and recycled items as possible and keep the overall weight at or below 5000lbs. As an example the kitchen and bathroom sinks are stainless steel mixing bowls. They are the perfect size and depth we need (we just need to cut the holes for the drains). We will not need a stove or range. Our heat source is electric. And lastly we are trying to make this home as green as we can. The less money is spent maintaining heating and cooling the home the more money is saved. If you have any suggestions or know where we can acquire the goods and materials we need please contact us.
