Fezzik is a white and tan broken-coated shortie Jack Russell terrier. He is 6 years old and weighs a hefty 18 pounds.Fezzik is coming into rescue because his busy family does not have enough time for him. He is a typical Jack with high prey drive and a lot of interest in hunting small critters. Although he has lived with cats we do not recommend a cat home for him unless he is given a great deal of supervision. Fezzik has grown up with children and is great with his kids but he can be nervous around strange children especially if they are wearing hoods or hats so older dog-smart kids only please.Fezzik has not been well-socialized or taken to any training classes so he can be reactive to strange dogs when on leash. A positive reinforcement starter obedience class is highly recommended. He is house and crate trained and likes to ride in the car.
