Murphy - Male Shiba Inu Mix

Murphy is a 2 year old 49 pound Shiba Inu mix that is a confident energetic boy that wants to take life by the reins and seize every opportunity to live it up He is eager to explore new areas go new and interesting places and he really loves his tennis ball. When playing fetch he allows you to take the ball from him with no issues and then focuses intently on you waiting for you to toss it again. Staff saw some concerning behavior from him during his behavior assessment- Murphy showed that he doesn t much care for being handled and froze completely when the handling portion started while slowly turning his head toward the assessor s hand. He also becomes stressed when being put back in his kennel and becomes difficult to handle by snapping at the leash and jumping up. When he first came to us he had injuries to his paw pads which have healed wonderfully and Murphy is ready to start the next chapter of his life.
