Chino - Male Pit Bull Terrier Mix

Chino 16-331. Arrived 7 5 16 at 3 years old.Chino was found as a stray and his owner has since made the choice to give him up for adoption. Chino requires more exercise and a watchful eye then could be provided for him. He has been described as an escape artist so his adopting home needs to be mindful that he may get through or over barriers. Chino lived with adults and teenagers. He has been described to jump quite a bit so kids at this point in training would be guarded in his home. Chino is accustomed to being crated in the house and spending time in an outside pen. Chino did live with two female dogs previously but he was described as playing rough with them. Chino was accustomed to being walked on a harness for exercise and playing fetch with a stick. Chino did not show aggression to his family around his food dish and he was not overprotective of his family. Chino is afraid of fireworks and can be known to chase cats. Chino knows the sit command and he knows the word wait. Here at the shelter we have found that Chino can run like the wind. He runs and he runs and he runs.
