Hi my name is Medusa and I m about 1-1 2 years old. I had my name when I came to BCHS and I answer to it but it is not a favorite of the volunteers at BCHS. A lot of them call me Dew as a nickname. I was confiscated by Animal Control from my owner along with 2 other dogs. When I arrived at BCHS I looked like a carcass. I was so thin every vertebrae on my spine showed my hip bones and ribs were also showing. It has taken 5 weeks for me to gain enough weight to look somewhat healthy. My tail is wrapped because I have what is known as a Happy Tail . I wag my tail so hard it hits walls and causes my tail to bleed. I have a wrap on my tail to avoid any further damage to my tail. I am high energy and need moderate exercise every day. I am still working on my manners. I do know Sit and Wait . We are still working on leash walking without pulling. I do better when I am wearing a Gentle Leader. I get so excited I have a hard time calming down. I am food motivated but not food aggressive. I have a special bowl for eating to help me slow down. I am good with other dogs. I like to play and run with the other dogs. I just need dogs that can tolerate my level of play. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed UTD on vaccinations heartworm tested treated for internal and external parasites and microchipped. My adoption fee is 150.00.
