Her breed mix is a complete mystery - she looks like a typical shepherd lab mix that would come from the Red Lake Reservation only about 1 3 the size. Her foster mom calls her a pocket lab. She is around 6 pounds at 3 months old so we expect that she is going to be a petite dog when full grown but there is always a chance that she will have a major growth spurt and get bigger than anticipated.Moxie was found at 8 weeks old alone at the dump. She only weighed 2 pounds 10 ounces at that time and was very ill and dehydrated. She struggled with her health for the first two weeks she was in foster care - she had a variety of intestinal parasites and infections and we were not sure if she was going to make it. After a lot of vet work and hospitalizations she finally overcame all of her infections and has become a happy healthy playful little monster like she should have been all along.Moxie is a remarkably friendly little girl who loves everyone. She is working on her potty training but she is very small and it will be a while before she will be reliable in that regard. She still gets up once per night to potty - she goes outside does her business right away then settles back in for the night. She is crate trained and will seek out her crate for naps. She LOVES her daily trips to the dog park and loves to play with other dogs. Her miniature tennis balls are her favorite thing in the world - she likes the regular size as well but they are pretty big for her. Moxie can be a bit mouthy so she will not be placed in a home with kids under 8. Moxie needs a family that will make sure she always gets high quality food to make up for her compromised start to life plenty of exercise and playtime with other dogs and most importantly all of the love and affection that a tiny baby dump puppy deserves.
