Serves as the contact person for store HR management and team member on all matters related to any leave type inquiries forms status of leave requests return dates doctor notes follow up letters benefit premium due letters collection of payments for benefits while on leave etc. Will conduct interactive process with team members requesting reasonable accommodation and coordinate all documentation that follows. Will support the department by serving as a back up to respond to unemployment claims as needed.Detailed Job Description Receives LOA FMLA requests and processes according to policy. Prepares response letters to LOA requests providing team member with eligibility status duration and necessary information. Communicates status of requests to Store Director and Store HR. Maintains log of leave of absences keeping track of time off and return dates. Follows up with team members scheduled to return to work to confirm return dates. Provides support to team members inquiring on LOA eligibility by answering calls emails and mailing information pamphlets on various leave of absences. Prepares letters for benefit premium due while on leave. Collects payments logs information and submits to Benefits Coordinator. Assists in responding to unemployment claims as needed preparing documentation and gathering information needed to accurately reply to claims in a timely manner. Knowledge Skills and Abilities Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment. Must speak read and write in English and Spanish Computer Proficient Strong computer skills Word Excel and Email Ability to mufti-task and handle large quantity of work Must work well with deadlines Must type minimum 45 WPM (will be tested) Must be able to work 8 am -5 pm including some Saturdays.
