Lexy - Female Domestic Shorthair Mix

Lexy is a beautiful female tabby feline about 5 years old and has been at our shelter for over 1 year. She was originally brought into the Dutchess County SPCA when her Mom needed to go into a nursing home. Lexy was without the familiar sounds and companionship of a person being at home with her for quite a while before she came to us and now she continues to wait patiently for someone to come in and take her home with them. Lexy prefers the quiet as she is a very mellow and gentle soul. We think a home without dogs or small children would be best. She would love to cuddle up next to you on the couch while you read a book or catch up on your favorite shows.
