Fluffy so named by a birthday girl was found wandering around Richmond. She was dirty and matted and had to be clipped down. So although she currently sports a short summer cut her coat will eventually grow out. She will require daily brushing and the occasional visit to a groomer for a trim. At first meeting Fluffy may appear stand-offish and shy. This may be a consequence of running loose on the streets and people trying to catch her. However with some cheerful words and a bit of cream cheese she will begin to engage with you. Right now she is not interested in balls or toys. However she did run around wag her tail and bark when invited by her handler to play. Fluffy was not interested in a male terrier her size despite the tremendous effort the terrier made to entice her to play. The terrier was persistent and Fluffy finally did play very briefly. She then told him to go away and not bother her again. So she appears to tolerate barely small dogs. However she is quite afraid of bigger dogs and will try to run away in a panic. So keep Fluffy safe and avoid big dogs. Fluffy does have the most beautiful big brown eyes. One look and you will be ready to give her anything she wants. There is a spark of fun in her gaze. It might take a little time on your part to entice the fun out of her but it will be well worth the effort.
