One day he broke off his chain and found himself at the River Rouge Animal Shelter. He had a very serious pneumonia and a great deal of hair loss. He was so sick it was feared that Hershey would not make it. Hershey received amazing care and love at the shelter and has made a full recovery. He is just the very sweetest boy and is so well behaved. Hershey continues to master basic commands and leash manners. He knows sit drop leave it and off. Because he tends to jump on people he would do best in a home without young children. He has the most beautiful brown fur with a reddish tint and the most gorgeous eyes that you have ever seen.
