She lived in an abusive and neglectful home. Her owner eventually surrendered her to a south Texas shelter to be euthanized. Luckily the shelter recognized that Lola had a loving spirit and deserved a second chance.Lola ia a Westie mix and approximately 3 years old. She weighes 22 pounds. She lives in a foster home with 4 other dogs and is respectful of the other dogs. She quickly is learning new behaviors such as loose leash walking and the sit command. Lola is heartworm positive but has started treatment with doxycycline and Advantage Multi.Her adoption fee is 200 and includes her spay DhPP vaccination rabies vaccination deworming microchip six-month supply of Advantage Multi leash and collar and Petco coupon book. Please note we are a group of private foster homes and NOT a public shelter we have weekly adoption events at the Unleashed petstore at 18138 San Pedro (1604 & 281) in San Antonio on Saturdays from 11-3 . With an approved application on file we are happy to hold your chosen pet for 2 hours past the start of our event to give you time to get here. We routinely do adoptions throughout the Austin and San Antonio areas and the rest of Texas. We try to schedule bi-monthly meet ups in Austin as interest is generated.
