This lovely lady was adopted from the rescue back in 2006 that s right 10 years ago. We received a call from AVID before the 4th of July holiday that they got a call from the City of Henderson animal control about 2 cats that were dumped by their owner. They scanned them and since both were microchipped to our rescue they called the microchip company who then called us. We immediately called the shelter. Since we had never worked with this facility before we didn t know how things would go. We were pleasantly surprised to find how accommodating they were and willing to work with us to get the cats back into our care. Yes we take responsibility for every animal we rescue for life and always take them back into our care if necessary. So we began to make arrangements to RE-RESCUE the girls. As luck would have it one of our board members was headed to Vegas for the holiday weekend and was happy to allow the girls to hitch a ride on the way back. She is now safely back in our care and despite what they ve been thru they are amazingly sweet and loving and forgiving.Rosie had her exam and senior bloodwork and is in overall good health and is approximately 11 years old. She is quiet and mellow and such a love head butts you for attention and enjoys just lounging around with her pal Cashmere.
