Hello there Thank-you for clicking on my profile I d love to meet you. Let me tell you a little bit about adopting me.My name is Buster and I am a 7 year old neutered male Pekingese who came to NBS Animal Rescue when my momma was no longer able to care for me. I was pretty sad to leave my momma at first but my Foster Dad is soooooooo nice - he takes great care of me and helped me to put a new little wag into my fluffy little tail.When I came to NBS Animal Rescue I had an ulcer on my eye that needed some medical attention to help me feel better. I also needed to see a doggy surgeon to help fix my back legs that were causing me to be in pain when I walked. The kind folks at NBS Animal Rescue made sure I got prompt medical care and I m happy to report that I m on the mend My eyes will need daily drops to help keep me comfortable - but I m super duper good for them I promise Right now I m recuperating from bilateral patella surgery (fixing my 2 knees) and won t be ready to go to my fur-ever home until August 20th BUT - my foster mom and dad said that if you are interested in adopting me you can visit -.-XX.- to fill out an online adoption application and our awesome volunteers will process your application ASAP so than when I m ready to go home we ll be all ready to set up a meet and greet I am a friendly little fella who is looking for a calm and low energy home. I would prefer a home without small children under the age of 10. I like to explore a fenced yard but I would be OK in a home that didn t have a fenced yard as long as my new family was committed to taking me out on a leash to potty several times a day and for at least one short walk each day. I am potty trained and am trustworthy in the house while you are at work. I weigh about 8 lbs and am full grown. I will need monthly grooming to help keep my fur nice and soft and so that I don t get painful mats in my fur again. I would really like a family who was home often and would let me sit on their lap and snuggle together My friends at NBS Animal Rescue are helping me to find the perfect fur-ever home. All of the dogs in our rescue are have different personalities and needs within an adoptive home. Not all of my friends here at NBS Animal Rescue have the same requirements so if I m not be the perfect fit for your family- be sure to check out my other doggy friends too For me These are the things I fur-sure need in my fur-ever home - Family who is gone no longer than 5 hour periods.-Children must be 10 yrs or older If you think I might be the perfect addition to your family please follow these steps 1.) Visit -.-XX.- to fill out my adoption application. As an approved adopter my rescue friends can set up a home visit so I can meet you. Our rescue is 100% run by volunteers to help your application be processed as quickly as possible please make sure to .2.) Call your veterinarian and give them permission to release information about your current and past pet s veterinary history.3.) Call your references too Let them know to expect a phone call from an unknown phone number and a rescue team member will need to talk to them on the phone as a reference. My adoption fee is 250.00 and includes a DHPP vaccine bordatella vaccine de-worming spay neuter surgery rabies vaccine (age appropriate) heartworm test (age appropriate) heartworm preventative flea tick preventative microchip insertion bath nail trim ear cleaning leash and collar and one week s worth of food. Dogs must be current on Distemper DHPP combo vaccine and Rabies vaccine cats must be current on Distemper and Rabies at the time of application.
