WOOF My name is Copper and I am a cute little 2 year old. I am a Terrier mix and I am ready to find my forever home Read a little about me and see if I am the right fit for you HOW DID I COME INTO HHHS I came into the shelter on June 26th because my previous owner could no longer care for me.HEIGHT 14 WEIGHT 10 lbs.HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED I m still pretty young and the breeds I m mixed with are smart and active so I would love an active family who can give me lots of exercise. Regular exercise will keep me happy and healthy going on walks or to the bark park might be some fun activities for us to do together DO I HAVE ANY SPECIAL TOYS I do not have a favorite toy yet but I am sure I would enjoy a Kong or really any toy. AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG I think I would make a great inside dog and I would really like to live indoors with my family. Outdoors can be a scary place for such a small dog. I would just need some training and need help learning to go potty outside. So just be sure to take me outside often to help me learn and to get exercise. Don t be afraid to kennel me when you are gone. Kennel time can be a comforting experience if you play some soft music and give me my favorite toys. I will probably just sleep while you are gone. DO I LIKE CATS My previous owner said I had been around a cat before but I was unsure of it. Just please be sure to take a little extra time to make me and your feline family members comfortable with each other. We can also do a cat test at the shelter before I go home just to make sure it is the right fit.DO I LIKE CHILDREN I think I would do best in a home with older children. I am a small little guy and anxious hands and lots of activity may make me nervous at times. Just make sure to bring the whole family in to visit.DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS I might do best in a home as the only dog. But just please be sure to bring your canine friends in to meet with me and do a dog test before leaving the shelter.
