He is a low key boy. 8 years old. Likes other dogs. Likes to play fetch. Crate trained. Spike s elderly owner could no longer care for him. Was an inside dog and well loved. Recently the owner has ended up in cardiac care unit so that was a blessing that he got to a safe place before all this happened. He is a snuggler and loves to give kisses. He sleeps at night between his new foster s pillows. He loves to walk on a leash and would be an amazing companion dog. He is good with kids that are 10 and 11 years. All the kids would come and visit with him at the bus stop. He isn t a big barker like some JRT s but can jump in the air for a treat. Great dog Here is an update from his foster As you can see Spike tries to be so helpful and likes to help put away thegroceries At 8 years old he is the perfect companion dog with a greatenergy level Not too hyper but just right He adores all dogs.even ifthey don t adore him. He just doesn t seem to notice Don t let his agebother you as Jack Russell Terriers tend to live a very full and lengthylife. He currently is being fostered in Middle TN with two fun loving butactive boys. Spike loves activities likes to play fetch and brings theball back likes to sit on the back of the couch and watch his family doingtheir evening activities and if you let him likes to sleep in bed with hishuman friends. If that isn t your preference he can be crated at night.We would love to find a home for him with a fenced back yard as he so enjoyshis outside play time.
