Emaciated as she was she nursed them and kept them safe. She and her little ones are now secure with Better Days Are Coming Rescue. They are all looking for homes. Winnie is a 30 pound dog with a gorgeous long wire haired coat in a wheat color. She has a Bassett hound type long body short legs and big feet. Her coat makes us think Airedale Terrier. Thus we are guessing she may be an Airdale-Bassett She has a funny little smile and a sweet nature. She has since put on the weight needed and her pups have been weaned. She is between 1 and 2 years of age and we feel her pups were her first litter. Soon Winnie will be spayed.
