Nelson is one of our extra-ordinary pets. He is seeking a quiet home with a caregiver ready to accept the special challenges he faces. Nelson is lacking social skills and is fearful of new places and people. In his foster home Nelson is learning to trust and work through some of his social needs. However there is no learning curve when it comes to other canines... Nelson LOVES other dogs He frolics and prances when there are other dogs for him to play with. Nelson finds comfort in his crate and often uses it as his safe place if he is stressed. He still does not feel comfortable walking on a leash and will need a well-secured home with a fence. Nelson is slowly making progress and with the right family he will continue to come out of his shell. Nelson has lots of love to give to someone with the patience to help him trust.Nelson s adoption fee is 175. Some of our pets are in foster care.
