Pele is an energetic young dog that loves his people and toys He can self entertain with his favorite stuffed animals and will delight with his antics. Pele is a little reserved with introductions to people and dogs but engages readily once he is comfortable. A companion dog 1 class would be an excellent way to get Pele up to speed on his basic training and to build his confidence. He is learning to trust those that handle him and a home with a gentle owner with prior dog experience and children 12 and older would be best. He has co-housed successfully with other dogs and would likely be fine in a home with another confident dog with appropriate introduction. Given his tendency to chase a home with cats is not recommended.
