A volunteer writes Being with Bluejay is like cuddling with a big soft plush toy Soft gentle snuggly and easy he s a pleasure to walk seems housetrained and never stops wagging his tail. As a matter of fact my first introduction to BJ was hearing this tail wagging against the sides of his kennel. His dark tongue and lush coat speaks to his Chow heritage. Walking through the park was easy peasy in spite of all the festivities on Fourth of July weekend food smells kids families music - BJ was quietly by my side not phased by any of it. Off leash he sat in front of me offered me his paw turned down my treats and placed his head on my lap for pettings. His teeth are white and cared for his coat full and his weight perfect for his size. BJ s eyes are a bit cloudy and I suspect some vision impairment but he manages just fine thank you very much Our soft gentle snuggly sweet as can be teddy bear is looking for a new lap on which to lay his head.
