He is not aggressive at all but with his baying bark he will alert his homeowner of intruders. He is intelligent good-natured and docile. Snoopy will make an excellent choice for families with children. The breed s easygoing nature makes them tolerant family members that love to participate in games. Beagles do not enjoy being left alone for extended periods of time. They can easily become frustrated and bored so the beagle will do best with someone who is home a lot.
